Your Natal Chart & this Lunar Eclipse in Gemini

First thing first. If you want to know where New + Full Moons are occurring in your specific chart, you’ll need to pull your chart here if you don’t have it already. You can also learn much more about your Natal Chart through the Intro To Astro Course (included in this membership).

You’ll notice the numbers outside of the wheel. This is the degree of your House Cusps. Every sign has 30 degrees, 0 to 29. Like I mention in the Intro To Astro Course, I use Equal Houses, which means that every House Cusp is at the same degree.

This Lunar Eclipse occurs in Gemini at 27 degrees. So, for example, if you have Gemini on your 6th House Cusp at 06 degrees, this Full Moon would fall in your 6th House. However, if you have Gemini, let’s say, at 29 degrees on your 6th House Cusp, you’ll actually have this Full Moon in your 5th House

This adds a layer of interpretation for how this Full Moon (and all upcoming lunations) will affect you personally.

Danielle’s Gemini Full Moon Reflection

Full Moons bring our feelings to the forefront. They are also associated with heightened intuition, illumination, culminations, and endings. Gemini is the networker, the curious cat and jack of all trades. It’s an air sign, and a distracted one, bouncing from one idea to another, which is why I find the combination so interesting. All of a sudden we’re presented with an abundance of choice. The Fullness of the Moon shines its light on subjectivity. Because Gemini’s multifaceted nature is hard to pin down, there’s always another perspective, another conversation, another option.

This Full Moon, with the Sun in Sagittarius and the Moon in Gemini, is also loosely square Neptune in Pisces, the planet of mysticism and fog, elevating or confusing the situation, depending on one’s personal experiences or view.

Mutable signs - Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces - are adaptable and fluid. This lunation softens the edges, blurs the lines. We may feel less sure, uneasy, or spread thin. We also may see through the veil in new ways, which can leave us doubting. The spectrum of voices feels (Moon) endless.

That being said, Mercury, Gemini’s ruler, is in practical Capricorn. Our minds and words express through a solid container. We’re soberly thinking about our long term goals and plans.

It’s a good time for conversation, hearing and seeing different angles. it reminds me of the parable of those blindfolded describing the elephant they’re placed in front of. Those next to the snout detail something very different than those touching the rump. To truth is that we’re all subjective, we’re all only seeing a fraction of the truth. Can we own this? Because doing so invites a kind of wonder and play and curiosity. What a relief it is to say, I don’t know.

FULL MOON RITUAL

I recommend exploring the below thematic suggestions and then taking the time to write, on separate paper, all of your limiting beliefs, fears, anxieties and negative self-talk and either burn, shred or rip them up. Then in the space allowed, allow for a blessing of light, that only that which is for the highest good be brought forward.

JOURNAL PROMPTS

Our values, finances and love lives are getting a thorough examination through its contact with Pluto. This, coupled with this Full Moon and the impending Saturn-Uranus Square, may have us feeling like we’re suspended again, floating through the liminal space. The question is, how do we handle the middle place, the in between, the grey?

Do I feel a need for clarity and certainty? Or… do I prefer the liminal space, the unknown, because it feels ripe with possibility? Or something in-between? In Myers-Briggs, for example, there is a distinction between Perception and Judgment. Is our worldview open-ended or conclusive?

How does this preference reveal itself through my communication and conversation style and how I relate to others? Do I see the world as black and white or grey, for example? Do I relate to others in this same way?

How can I support myself in being mindful of how my default perception shapes the way I relate to others?
